Joseph Kenene

CEO

Born in Tanzania, Joseph’s academic journey took him from the vibrant city of Mwanza to the picturesque landscape of France, the epitome of European innovation. In the heart of Paris, he embarked on a transformative journey, pursuing a master’s degree in Process, Energy, and Environment at Paris Saclay University. His time abroad exposed him to modern research centers, cutting-edge technologies, and innovative solutions. Inspired by this experience, Joseph returned to Africa with the vision to accelerate energy transition and combat climate change. He founded Oladgen, a company dedicated to providing clean and sustainable energy solutions.

Noel Philmon Mzungu

Operations Manager

Noel, a seasoned Geo-environmental research scientist with a master's degree in Environmental Hazards and Risks Management, is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Geography of Natural Disasters and Risks. Collaborating with Generali France, the French Geological Survey, and the LAGAM laboratory at the University of Montpellier 3, his expertise lies in utilizing Geographical Information Systems, remote sensing, and programming for holistic risk management. Specializing in automated decision tools, Noel is dedicated to advancing scientific solutions in environmental research, particularly in the face of a changing climate, and actively contributes to crisis response and early warning system development.

John Magarya

Sustainability Manager

John Magarya is a Health, Safety, and environmental Specialist with extensive experience working in the Manufacturing and Oil and gas industries. He holds a BSc. In Chemical Engineering as well as the NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. He is also a lead auditor for ISO 9001, 14001 & and 45001.

Calvin Simon

Finance Manager

Calvin is a certified public accountant with six years of work experience in the field of financial accounting and management, auditing and taxation, business analysis, strategy formulation and analysis. He is a holder of a Master's degree in business administration (Corporate Management) from Mzumbe University, he also holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the same university.
